Groom/Rider (No longer available)

Full Time experienced competition Groom required for Young Rider based in Leicestershire with 5 horses.
The ideal person will have previous Event/Dressage/Hunt experience and understand the importance of beautifully turned out horses, so must have the ability to plait , clip, trim etc.

A good rider essential who is happy to hack fit horses helping to maintain fitness throughout the season.
Knowledge of preparing horses for travel also required ( bandaging , rugging etc)
Being able to work closely with the rider and other members of staff based at this fabulous yard.

Car driving licence essential and someone who is happy driving a small 3.5 lorry.
A HGV or 7.5T lorry driver would be a great advantage but not a deal breaker.
We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic person who would really relish being part of this team moving forward up the ranks.

This is a live in position and the accommodation is wonderful. Well behaved dog welcome ( bitches only)
