Part Time Gardener/Groundsperson- Beyton, Bury St Edmunds – REF 1071

Part Time experienced Gardener/Groundsperson required for private country house located in the village of Beyton approx 6 miles from Bury St Edmunds-easily accessed via the A14.

The gardens

The position:-

• Mainly landscaping maintenance – weeding, pruning, watering, cutting back, mulching, restocking etc
• Maintenance of grass areas using ride on mower and strimmer
• Hedgecutting and trimming
• Chain saw use to cut logs for the house
• Leaf collecting
• Keeping driveways, paths and tracks clear and tidy
• Pruning fruit trees
• Weed control

The Person:-

• Reliable, punctual and hard working
• Energetic and enthusiastic with a good work ethic
• Good gardening and general groundsperson experience
• Will have horticultural knowledge but do not need to be RHS qualified
• Will be very experienced in the use of large garden machinery
• Must be happy to work in all weathers as this is a year round position
