Sunday Groom – Needham Market, Suffolk – Ref JF1528

Experienced Groom required every other Sunday for small private yard located near Needham Market.

We are looking for someone to carry out all yard duties to a high standard for 2 hours in the morning and 1-2 hours in the afternoon, so local person preferred.

The family have 4 horses with the possibility of an addition in the near future.

The Position:-

• Turning horses out and bringing in from the field
• Rug changing
• Washing off and picking out feet
• Checking for injuries
• Muck out stables
• Fill Haynets and fill water buckets
• Clean tack on occasions
• Sweep yard

The Person:-

• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to every other Sunday.
• Enthusiastic and hard working
• Will have a genuine love of working with horses
• Confident and happy handling large horses up to 18.2
• Must have previous groom experience and be able to provide contacts for references
• Car driver or very local with transport arranged
• Must be able to work unsupervised

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person.
