Part time Show Manager required for luxury British hat brand.

The position involves all administrative work related to Hicks & Brown’s presence at an event, driving stock and display units to shows, setting up, packing down and ultimately managing a sales team and representing Hicks & Brown in the best way possible whilst ensuring customers receive a first-class shopping experience.

The ideal person for this role would be someone who has experience in retail management and perhaps has another role elsewhere to supplement this with. Hicks & Brown have committed to nine premium outdoor shows over 2023, with each requiring a minimum of five days’ work. This is a truly unique role with so much to offer.

Ideally to start in the New Year but this can be flexible.

Pay dependent on experience. Bonus scheme will be in place on top of basic. Local candidate would be preferable but is not essential as we do appreciate it’s an unusual role. Hicks & Brown’s HQ is in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Approximately 72 days’ work over the course of a year.

The shows are:

  • Cheltenham Festival – March
  • Badminton Horse Trials – May
  • Royal Windsor Horse Show – May
  • RHS Chelsea Flower Show – May
  • Royal Highland Show – June
  • RHS Hampton Court Flower Show – July
  • The Great Yorkshire Show – July
  • The Game Fair – July
  • Burghley Horse Trials – September

Lovely accommodation provided for all shows and the manager will have their own room.

We are looking for a real people person, someone who is super friendly and a safe pair of hands, who gets on with everyone.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone and if you are interested, we would love to hear from you.
