Sunday Groom – Hadleigh Suffolk REF 1160

Sunday Groom required for small family yard with 8 horses located in Layham approx 2 miles from hadleigh, Suffolk.

The ideal person will be local and a car driver with good experience with horses.

Hours will be 7am to 10am-and if possible for a local person to come back 3pm to 5pm

The position:-

• All yard work-mucking out, waters, hays, sweeping yard etc
• Turning horses out and bringing them in from the field
• Checking for injuries and signs of illness ( report to owner or head groom)
• Check rugs
• Pick out hooves
• Clean tack

The Person:-

• Reliable, Punctual and trustworthy
• Confident handling large horses on the ground
• Experienced with stable work
• Happy to work alone
• Able to get to Layham near Hadleigh
• Will have fully checkable references

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can commit to every Sunday or every other Sunday .
