Rider / Groom- Live in

Live in Rider /Groom required for maternity leave (summer contract). Start date ASAP!

Main body of work in Suffolk but the successful candidate will be required to relocate for the summer months to a beautiful property in Surrey (very nice free accommodation available).

We are looking to find an experienced rider / groom to join a satellite farm in Suffolk as part of a small busy team, the main company having a reputation as one of the most prestigious Thoroughbred breeding and racing operations in the world.
The Successful candidate would be able to help look after, tack up, exercise and ride some of the 18 horses who all live out. Experience in operating farm machinery such as quads, walking machines, treadmills would be helpful. Competing is an option as there is a mix of privately owned dressage, jumping and show horses.

During the summer months the family relocate to Surrey where the duties would be similar except the job would include helping with pony rides and lessons for beginners. The position comes with excellent remuneration package based on a 40 hour week. It is a live in position with a modern 3 bedroom house on site.

For candidates that were to show exemplary work ethic a fixed position could be discussed within the company.

We need someone who is reliable, flexible, happy to relocate for the summer, hard- working and excellent with horses.
This would suit someone who doesn’t have any ties, who enjoys working with lovely horses in a beautiful setting.
