Companion/Cook/Driver/Carer – Stowmarket, Suffolk REF 1208

Full Time Live In Companion/Driver/Cook/Carer required for elderly gentleman with large country house located just outside Stowmarket in the village of Ringshall.

We are looking for someone to start in February 2023 when the current person moves back home.

There is an annexe on site which can accommodate a couple if required, where the partner is employed elsewhere.

This is a full time position beginning with breakfast every day . The companion will have 2 hours off in the day and regular day offs will be agreed.

The Position:-

• To offer assistance to the gentleman in his own home -no personal care
• All driving – outings, shopping etc
• All cooking – breakfast, lunch and supper – healthy nutritious meals
• Companionship – watching TV, reading, eating meals together and general conversation throughout the day.
• No housework as there is a lovely cleaner employed.

The Person:-

• Reliable, trustworthy, kind and caring
• Friendly and bright
• A good cook
• A good safe driver with a clean licence
• Will show flexibility with hours and be happy to work weekends.
• Will be able to provide fully checkable references and will have a DBS check or be happy to apply for one.

A very good salary will be offered to the successful person.
