Temporary Groom – Offton, Ipswich Suffolk REF 1256

Part Time Temporary Groom required for small private yard located in Offton approx 20 minutes from Ipswich. Easy access from Hadleigh, Bildeston, Stowmarket and Sudbury.

We are looking for a reliable person who can cover this short period starting afternoons only on the 27th February 2023 and then mornings and afternoon from 3rd March until 13th March.

The family have 4 horses – 2 live out. The hours will be 7am to 9am and then back again 3pm to 5pm approx.

The Position:-

• All yard work to a high standard
• Top class care of all horses as if they are your own
• Feeding morning and evening
• Hays and waters
• Poo picking the field
• Keeping the yard clean
• Checking horses for injury/illness and reporting to owner/vet etc

The Person :-

• Reliable, trustworthy and very experienced with horses.
• Happy to work alone
• Confident handling horses on the ground, rug changing , leading to the field etc
• Car driver with own transport
• Able to provide fully checkable references
• Local
