Full Time experienced Private PA/Estate Manager required for private country Estate located approx 5 minutes from Newmarket, Suffolk.
This is a Monday to Friday position and we are looking for a polite, well presented person with previous private PA experience to join the team on this beautiful Estate.
The Position:
- Office Based 5 days per week
- Assist the principal with any personal requests which may include administrative, purchasing, correspondence
- Full management of Estate rental property portfolio
- Organise property repairs and liaise with contractors (builders, plumbers and other trades)
- Organise and instruct required safety certificates
- Maintain accurate records
- High attention to detail
- Proactively manage diaries, scheduling meetings and travel
- Day to day office management
- Liaising with the wider team (Accountant/Land Agent/Gardeners/Maintenance team/Gamekeeper)
- Assist in planning estate events
- Any other tasks that fall within the remit of the post
Person Specification:
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task, organise others and work on own initiative and with limited supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to fit the role’s needs
- Confident with IT and online communication systems (the office uses Mac’s)
- Trustworthiness to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Ability to filter information and assess priorities
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise
- Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
- Previous PA experience required
- Due to location, driver essential
