Full Time Groundsperson – Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire REF 1382

Full Time experienced Groundsperson required to join an established team working on a private Estate located near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

This is a great opportunity for someone to work within an English Heritage Garden providing excellent care for the wonderful grounds.

Monday to Friday 07.30am to 16.30pm with an earlier finish on Fridays.

This position offers a great deal of variety with no 2 days being the same.

The Position:-

• Full responsibility for all trees, hedges, grass and weeding on site
• To ensure all gates, fencing and signage are well maintained and clean around the site
• To be responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and maintenance of all external areas
• Reporting any issues to the line manager, or subsequent departments for any repairs and maintenance
• Assisting when required with setting up and management of all parking for Estate events
• To operate within all site Health and Safety guidelines.
• Using large garden machinery, ride on mowers, strimmers, leaf blowers, hedge cutters and log processing equipment.

The Person:-

• Reliable, punctual and a really good team player
• Enthusiastic, hard working and self motivated
• Fully experienced in the use and upkeep of large garden machinery
• Will have a full UK driving licence
• Will be physically fit
• Happy to work outside in all weathers
