Part Time Handyperson Bures, Suffolk Ref 1289

Part Time Handyperson required for large private country house with grounds and outbuildings located near Bures on the Essex/ Suffolk  borders.

The property is a rambling building with outbuildings and sheds. The owner has a number of boats which will need painting and varnishing at times.

This is a lovely position offering a variety of duties where no 2 days are the same.

The ideal person will be able to work one full day a week to carry out the following :-

• General DIY to mend gates and fences
• Painting both inside and outside the house , to include garden furniture
• Assisting the gardener with repairs to the summer house and other garden structures
• Jet washing paths and other areas around the property
• Clearing buildings and loading skip
• Sweeping the buildings and yards around the property
• DIY in the house – putting shelves up, coat hooks etc
• Occasionally helping to move sheep.
• Boat painting and varnishing.

The Person will be:-

• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Polite and easy to get along
• Helpful and willing to assist around the property
• Experienced with DIY, to include painting, general repairs to the properties.
• A car driver

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references.
