Part Time Handyperson/Yard Person – Cambridgeshire Ref 1298

Part Time Handyperson/Groundsperson/Yard Worker required for private equestrian property located approx 13 miles West of Cambridge.

We are looking for someone who can work approx 25 hours a week Monday to Friday – ideally mornings. Some flexibility for help at weekends would be great but not essential.

Horse experience would be a great advantage but not a dealbreaker.

The position will involve:-

• Keeping the stable yard and property grounds clean and tidy
• Cutting the grass and strimming areas around the property
• Maintenance of fences and buildings
• Assisting with emptying wheelbarrows and moving hay and straw bales
• Keeping the yard swept and clean
• General tidying to assist yard owner

The person:-

• Reliable, punctual with a really good work ethic
• Will take a pride in keeping things clean and tidy
• Happy to take instructions
• Will be used to working in all weathers
• A Car driver
• Polite and nice to have around
• Possibly previous stable yard experience but not essential.

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references
