Part Time Grooms Maldon, Essex Ref 1312

Two Part time Grooms required to work 3 or 4 days each per week to include sharing weekends.

The position is within a small, family yard located near Maldon, Essex and each groom will be required to 3 or 4 days a week -approx 3 hours per day.

The family have 1 horse, 2 ponies and 2 miniature horses.

The Position:-

• All yard duties, including mucking out and poo picking the fields
• Turning horses out and bringing them in from the field
• Putting horses on the walker and clearing walker afterwards
• Filling and soaking haynets
• Checking and refilling waters in fields and stables
• Checking horses over , picking out feet and changing rugs when required

The people:-

• Reliable, trustworthy, punctual and hard working
• Experienced with horses and ponies
• Happy working alone
• Confident handling a variety of horses and ponies
• Able to spot injury or illness and inform owner, vet etc
• Happy to work in all weathers

Good hourly rate offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references
