Part Time experienced Administrator/Accounts assistant required for established farming business with a number of different enterprises( primarily Business Park and Caravan Storage). They are located 3 miles from Braintree and 8 miles from Chelmsford.

This is a fast paced role within a small family office, so we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic person to join the team who is friendly and easy to get along with.

The company let and manage all aspects of their property portfolio, caravan storage and farming enterprises-in house, so someone with property/farming/caravan knowledge/experience would be a great advantage.

The hours will be 9am to 5pm – Monday and Tuesday with the flexibility to cover holidays and sickness. There may be occasions when two consecutive weeks, Monday to Friday -9am to 5pm will be required during the year.

The Accounts Assistant/Administrator will support the Directors as well as working using their own initiative in this varied role, which will involve the following:-

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt IT skills to other bespoke programs.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work using own initiative  and be proactive

  • Managing diaries
  • Updating website properties
  • Multitasking with good time management
  • General office duties – filing, tidying, emails and telephone
  • Working in a small office environment

Car driver required due to the semi-rural location.
