Full Time Housekeeper- Nr Newmarket

Full Time experienced Housekeeper required for large private country Estate near Newmarket.
This is a live in position and a self contained cottage is offered as well as a competitive salary.

The ideal person will have previous private household experience and be able to carry out housework to a very high standard. Be able to work using their own initiative and be able to take instruction. Someone with a keen eye for detail who takes a pride in their work with a ‘Can Do’ attitude .
Laundry and ironing also part of this role.

An animal lover would be perfect as the family have dogs who will need walking and feeding on occasions.

Car driver essential due to the rural location and also for shopping for the household.
Being on site for security of the house when the owners are away.
The successful person will also be required to cook for the family and small dinner parties.

A good knowledge of garden produce would be an advantage so fresh ingredients can always be available for recipes.

There will be babysitting required at times.

There are other staff employed on the Estate so this is not an isolated position. They include a part time housekeeper, Nanny, Groom and a team of Gardeners.
We are looking for a reliable, friendly person who can interact well with family and staff.
