Part Time experienced Farm Secretary / Accounts person required for North Norfolk farm.

The ideal person will be local and able to work between 2-3 days a week, from 9am-1pm. We are looking for a reliable, experienced person who is computer literate, polite and professional. This is an arable farm but there are also cows on site and a beautiful vineyard.

The position will involve:-

  • All farm recording using FarmPlan
  • Use of Gatekeeper and Excel
  • Payroll (Ernie)
  • Invoicing and bank reconciliation
  • General bookkeeping
  • Preparing farm accounts and budgets
  • Dealing with VAT and tax returns
  • Completing legislative and management records
  • Calculating employees’ pay and keeping employment records.
  • Arranging quotations for buying, hiring and maintaining farm machinery and equipment

The Person:-

  • Reliable, punctual, organised with an easy to get along with personality
  • Well presented, polite with excellent communication skills
  • Fully IT confident-excel
  • Car driver with own transport
  • Non smoker
