Teaching Assistant, Brettenham, Suffolk ref 1362

Part Time Teaching Assistant required to join the team at this wonderful independent school located in the beautiful Suffolk countryside with easy access from Bury St Edmunds, Hadleigh, Sudbury and Stowmarket.

The successful person will be acting as support for the pupils and for the teaching staff assisting with planning, development and delivery of all areas of the curriculum.

When the teacher is away in the short term , the teaching assistant will be required to cover all pre-prepared activities to provide continuity to the pupils.

To pupils learning in the most effective way and to cover their personal needs whilst encouraging independence. To encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively, ensuring all pupils are engaged in activities.

To accompany the teaching staff and pupils on visits, trips and out of school activities as required.
