Live in Housekeeper – Norfolk- REF 1365

Experienced Housekeeper required for large country house near Great Witchingham, Norfolk.

This is a full-time, live-in position. Monday-Friday to include housesitting and looking after the family dog when the family are on holiday.

4 school age children so busy and fun household to work in. Approximately 7 bedrooms / 5 bathrooms.

The main responsibilities will be:

1. Keeping on top of all housekeeping- hoovering, mopping, dusting, polishing, glass, silver etc
2. Ironing- clothes, school uniforms and bedlinen
3. All laundry- stripping beds, putting washing on, hanging out, making beds
4. Tidying up after meals, loading and unloading the dishwasher
5. General errands- shopping, stocking fridges, bathrooms etc
6. Driving- the odd school collection or drop off if required (use of family car)
7. Walk/feed the lovey small dog occasionally if family are out
8. Housesitting when family are abroad (most of the summer holidays)

Accommodation available:

Beautiful, freshly decorated  2-bedroom cottage with own private garden on site

Requirements:

1. Car driver essential
2. DBS check will be required but can be obtained at a later stage
3. Excellent references

Package:

Monday – Friday

hours:  7.00am-1.00pm &  3.30-6.30pm

One Saturday per month up to 5 hrs

Gross Salary will depend on experience:

£23-27000 per annum depending on previous experience

Salary to include (rent free, newly redecorated cottage, water and 28 days paid holiday)

The person must have previous experience working for a private family as a Housekeeper and be capable of hitting the ground running.

Employed position, 28 days paid holiday.
