Fantastic PA / Office Administrator required for beautiful, rural Estate near Walsingham, Norfolk. This is a part time position offering 28 hours a week. This is a really exciting position for someone that doesn’t come up very often!

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, highly organised and well presented person who is happy to be the first point of contact for the estate, representing it to the highest standard.

Hours:

5.5 hours a day (potentially more available if the person requires)

Monday-Friday (some flexibility available)

Job Role:

  • To welcome visitors to the Estate Office, respond to enquiries, ensuring the smooth operation of the
    Office and to provide administrative support to the Land Agent and Directors.
  • To be the first point of contact in person, on the telephone and by email
  • To forward calls efficiently and effectively & to take messages
  • To receive and distribute deliveries
  • To open and distribute post daily, managing outbound post
  • To undertake administrative tasks for the Resident Agent and Directors
  • To efficiently manage calendars, including scheduling appointments and meetings
  • To compose and type letters, and draft agreements
  • To prepare and organise necessary documents, agreements, presentations and reports for
    meetings
  • To proof read and format documents
  • To manage rotas
  • To process bookings for Pilgrimages to the Abbey Grounds and for the Parish Hall
  • To carry out administrative tasks for the Museum and Grounds
  • To record holiday and sickness for the Team
  • To collate timesheets & disbursements (weekly)
  • To order and distribute stationary and maintain a stationary store

The ideal person will have:

  • Personal Assistant experience
  • Good organisational and time management skills, often working to deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Experience in preparing reports, presentations, and meeting materials
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude

This position would suit a very polite, friendly person who would enjoy a varied role working within a small, close knit team.
