Part Time Groom – Swaffham, Norfolk – Ref 1388

Part Time experienced Groom required for private yard located approx 10 minutes from Swaffham, Norfolk.

We are looking for someone to start when the family move into their new home end of September 2023.

The position is for 12 hours a week over 3.5 days ( to include one weekend day ideally).

The family have 3 horses ( one is retired)

The position will involve the following:-

• All yard work-mucking out, sweeping, waters, hays etc
• Poo picking the field
• Turning horses out and bringing in from the field
• Rug changing and checking for injury
• Hacking available for good rider but this can be a non riding position if preferred
• Clipping and plaiting would be great but not essential
• Chance to compete at a low level for the right person.

The person:-

• Reliable, punctual with a good work ethic
• Friendly and easy to have around
• Happy to follow instructions
• Organised, tidy and efficient
• Confident handling horses on the ground

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references.
