GB Full time professional Groom / Rider (FILLED)

 Full Time Professional Groom/Rider required for successful family eventing yard set within the most stunning private farming Estate approx 20 minutes from both Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.

This position would suit someone who has previously groomed to a high level ( preferably 3*/4*) and who understands the demands of managing the yard, horses and has the ability to work well with this small family team.

Someone reliable, enthusiastic with a good positive attitude who can work under pressure whilst at events and enjoy the down time keeping these fabulous equine athletes in tip top condition.

The rider is a medal winning young rider with a team of super horses aimed at the International and National competitions in 2020.

The ideal person must be able to turn horses out to a very high standard ( clipping, plaiting, trimming etc) and really love the buzz of travelling to events.

Understanding the routine on competition days is essential- tacking up, studding up, walking and washing off etc. Organisation is the key!

A good rider who is happy to exercise the horses-hacking straight from the yard around parkland, woods and tracks.

The yard has fantastic facilities including a full cross country course.

Lorry driver with HGV would be an advantage but this could be taken at a later date.

Excellent salary offered to the successful person along with accommodation on site.
