Grounds Person / Gardener- Poringland, Norfolk- REF RR1400

Experienced Grounds Person / Gardener required for large private Estate situated in a beautiful rural location just a stone’s throw away from South Norwich (7 miles).

This is a full time, permanent, employed position.

Hours and days:

• 37-40 hours a week
• Monday-Friday, no weekends
• 7.30/8.00am- 4.30/5pm

The position:

• Maintain the gardens and Estate grounds – general horticultural knowledge is important.
• Work to include management of lawns, hedges, trees, shrubs, drive edges, garden features, courtyards, gutters etc.
• Must have experience with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and similar garden equipment
• The role will involve both working solo and with estate staff and contractors as required.
• Maintenance of all garden machinery, tools and equipment (handling basic maintenance and repairs).
• Assist and manage Estate landscaping projects where relevant
• Tickets in spraying, chainsaw use, and telehandler operating would be a real advantage, driving licence is essential.
