Gardener / Groundsman REF 543 ( FILLED)

Full Time experienced Garden/Groundsman required preferably with Horticultural Qualifications.

The ideal person will be happy to join this established team managing the beautiful gardens and grounds of a wonderful private Estate located approx 20 minutes from Newmarket.

Someone with a positive, forward thinking work ethic who really enjoys seeing the results of their work.

The gardens are open to the public so high standards are required at all times.

Understanding the work required through the seasons and the ability to take and follow instructions.

This is a permanent position so the successful person must be happy working outside in all weathers.

Good machinery knowledge essential ( mowers, strimmer etc) and the ability to maintain them. Immaculate lawn, hedge and border care necessary.

Excellent plant knowledge essential and experience working within greenhouses.

The position has a variety of areas where the gardener will be working – formal gardens, lawns, woodland,parkland,meadows and leisure areas.

Good salary offered.
