Sunday Groom – Hadleigh, Suffolk- Ref JF1428

Part Time experienced Groom required for private yard with 8 horses located in a village close to hadleigh, Suffolk.

We are looking for someone who can work every Sunday 07.30 to 11.30 and then back again in the winter months 3.30pm to 4.30pm

The Position will include:-

• All yard work to a high standard – mucking out, hays, waters and sweeping yard.
• Turning horses out and bringing in from the field
• Rug changing /checking
• Washing off/picking out feet
• Checking for injury
• Tack cleaning
• General yard tidying

The Person:-

• Reliable, punctual and hard working
• Confident handling fit horses on the ground
• Happy to have sole charge at times
• Experienced in all stable yard duties
• A car driver with own transport as no bus route to the property
• Will have a genuine love of working with horses and happy working in all weathers

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references.
