An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Office and Contracts Administrator to join this highly successful, multi award winning Landscape Construction Company ,located in Suffolk. Previous winners at Chelsea Flower Show and entered again for 2020.

This is a company who have earned a reputation for offering first class quality and service with many prestigious commercial and domestic projects completed and currently in progress.

The company is very forward thinking, professional and growing year on year.

They work with several well known designers who are always confident with any project completed by them .

 

What the position requires

 

All aspects of administrative support to the Office Manager, Contracts Manager and the Estimator.

Answering incoming calls, dealing with them professionally and transferring to appropriate person.

Managing filing systems in accordance with company practice.

Processing tender enquiries and assisting in the production of landscape quotations. Help to order materials for site.

Prepare relevant paperwork for Landscapers on site.

Some database management.

Support Office Manager as directed- vehicle management, site equipment management etc.

Cover for Wednesday afternoons when Office Manager out of office.

Stationery, office supplies, managing post, unpacking deliveries and keeping office tidy.

 

Skills required

 

Reliability, punctuality and a polite, professional manner.

Previous experience of working in business administration.

A positive, can do attitude and above all a team player.

Organised, efficient person who can work under pressure in a calm manner.

Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Fully computer literate particularly in Excel.

At least 5 GCSE’s   A-C, A Level preferable.

An interest in Horticulture would be a great advantage.

 

Hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
