Full Time experienced Secretary required for private household within large country Estate located approx 20 minutes from Newmarket.
Basic duties to include:-
- Acting as a first point of contact for the private office: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
- Managing the principles diary and organising meetings and appointments
- Providing admin support to the house staff
- Event organisation
- Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
- Reminding the principle of important tasks and deadlines
- Typing, compiling and preparing schedules and correspondence
- Managing databases and filing systems
- Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date
- Liaising with staff, suppliers, contractors, family members and guests
- Collating and filing expenses
- Using a range of software packages
- Taking minutes
- Miscellaneous admin tasks to support the PA and Accountant
· experience in an administrative role
· knowledge of software packages, word & excel
· good interpersonal and time management skills.
· Honesty & discretion
Days will be Monday to Friday and hours will be 9am to 5pm ( some flexibility can be shown)
Excellent salary offered to the successful person.
