A fantastic opportunity has come up for anyone looking to get into Garden Landscaping working as a Landscape Operative for an award winning Landscape and Construction Company located on the Essex/Suffolk borders close to Bures.

This is a Monday to Friday position with travel from the base in Bures to a variety of sites, mostly in East Anglia including Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and in London. A minimum requirement of 40 hours per week will be required as well as the potential to earn more through some overtime. You will be part of a multi-skilled team where you will have the chance to learn new skills through training and pathways to grow within the business.

The role will entail assisting the skilled Landscapers to construct the gardens. Possible duties will include laying paving, constructing borders, flower beds and any other hard landscaping that needs doing on the individual sites.

The skills required are:-

  • Knowledge of basic principles of hard landscaping
  • The desire and willingness to learn on the job and grow within the company
  • Disciplined and organised and to aim for excellence
  • Honest and reliable
  • Positive and proactive attitude and a critical eye for detail
  • Health and safety awareness essential and CSCS Card useful
  • Driving licence essential, towing licence would be an advantage
