Housekeeper/PA/Handy Person – Hadleigh, Suffolk – Ref JF1512 UNDER OFFER

Housekeeper/PA/Handyperson required for large country house approx 2 miles from the market town of Hadleigh, Suffolk.

We are looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, local and discreet to carry out a variety of tasks as the owners are in London some of the time.

The ideal person will be able to carry out all housework to a high standard, including laundry and ironing, bed making and generally keeping the house tidy and clean. Fridge filling and shopping on occasions. Cleaning inside windows within reason

Someone with PA/Admin experience who can assist with household paperwork, filing, bill paying occasionally. This may involve booking travel for the family.

The position will also require the person to liaise with trades people ensuring the house is always ready for the family. Light bulb changing, fire laying, bringing logs into the house and on occasions opening the sluice gates in times of high water. Keeping track of household appliances-water softener, age etc and checking heating oil levels.

The family have a little dog so someone who would be happy with pet care at times.

Car driver as there could be occasional London runs, airport runs or train station runs. Non smoker essential.

A good salary will be offered to the successful person.
