Key Responsibilities:

  •  Work within, support and lead a team of 4–5 during batch grading operations, ensuring that orders are packed correctly (training provided where necessary).

  • Plan batches of ungraded eggs to fulfil customer orders with accurate packaging and labelling (right packaging – right customer).
  • Utilise computerised ordering system to retrieve customer orders.
  • Record and maintain traceability and quality control data.
  • Assist with picking orders to meet customer requirements and upload completed orders to the Farm’s order portal for invoicing.
  • Food Hygiene and other required training will be provided.

The Person:

  • Positive, proactive, and reliable with a calm approach.

  • Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment and therefore must be physically fit.

The Housekeeper will:

Live in Nanny – Nr Hampstead Heath, London- RR1936

We are looking for a real Mary Poppins to join this lovely family of 5 in London. They have 2,  11 week old twins and a 4 year old who starts school in September.

Mum will be around initially so the role will involve generally mucking in and helping out where needed, whether that be sole charge of the twins whilst mum and the eldest go to the park or vice versa, helping with breakfast, feeding all babies, helping to get everyone ready for school/school run including packed lunch. The position involves working closely with the owner to organise grazing and labour requirements on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

The sheep are outside all year round, so the applicant must be used to working with Rappa (or equivalent) temporary fencing. Grazing consists of summer catch crops, winter cover crops and herbal leys. These grazing platforms are shared with the cattle enterprise, and the shepherd would be expected to work closely with the owner to discuss the grazing plan for both enterprises.

The family have 2 large dogs and 3 cats so an animal lover is essential.

The family have 3 grown up children who live away but come to stay occasionally, so the house is very quiet most of the time.

The usual day will start at 06.45 for one person and 9am for the other (when 2 housekeepers are on) and finish 6/7pm(later when the family give occasional dinner parties).

Within these hours there will be a 3 hour break, allowing for time away from the house. There will be periodic weekends required with time off in lieu.

This is a full time position which will include weekends on a rota basis.

  1. Livestock Management
  • Provide daily care for 30 head of Wagyu cattle with the view of expanding the herd over the next three years whilst producing high quality grade beef.
  • Provide daily care for 80 breeding ewes (Exlana, Suffolk and Southdowns) and Pedigree Tamworth pigs.
  • Engage with breeding programs, lambing, and calving operations with a focus on welfare and productivity.
  • Monitor pasture health and rotation schedules to ensure optimal grazing conditions and animal welbeing.
  • Conduct routine health checks in line with our Healthy Herd Scheme, administer treatments and vaccinations as required.
  • Maintain accurate livestock records for births, movements and medical treatments.

  • Implement and promote regenerative farming techniques, such as rotational grazing and bale grazing.

  • Maintain fencing (electric and permanent), and water systems to ensure the safety and comfort of livestock

Groom -(4 days a week)- Nr Euston, Suffolk – REF JF1883

Experienced Groom required for private yard located in a lovely location close to Thetford on the border with Suffolk. You will be joining a team of 4 with 2 of the team being apprentices who are absolutely brilliant, caring for a variety of horses, including Eventing sporthorses, a hunter and a Shetland pony.

The horses vary in age from youngstock to experienced competition horses.

Ideally the new groom will be able work 32 hours a week over 4 days, which will include at least 1 weekend day. There will be extra hours/days available during busy periods.

Hours:

  • 8.30am – 5.30pm
  • 1 hour lunch break (unpaid)

The yard has great facilities, such as barn stables (a plus in wet weather), outdoor arena, horse walker, paddocks and the advantage of excellent hacking.

The Position:

  • All yard duties to a high standard
  • Lungeing and long reining young horses
  • Sole charge at times
  • Riding out on the Estate- hacking
  • Non rider will be considered if preferred

You will be:

  • Reliable, punctual with a really good work ethic and a genuine love and passion for working with horses

One of Norfolk’s finest country Estates is looking for a Property Services Administrator (Team Leader) to support the Property Services Team in the delivery of the day to day maintenance of the estate and its various enterprises. The Estate is approximately 20,400 acres with residential, commercial, and agricultural buildings, forestry, visitor enterprises, sawmill, and farming (in-hand and let).

Job Purpose

The maintenance and improvement of the Estate is of critical importance, together with constantly improving environmental performance through current and emerging technology and practices. The main function of the role is to support the Property Services Team in the delivery of this maintenance.

The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the Estate and lead by example.

Key Tasks and Main Responsibilities

  • Primary duties will cover a range of administrative tasks in support of the Residential Manager and the wider Property Services Team.
  • Providing support of the day to day repairs and maintenance and ensuring a reliable and consistent service is provided to all residents.

The ideal person will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and repair various problems that arise within the main house and 50+ dwellings on the estate. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

You will be required to:-

  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on 50+ dwellings on the estate.
