Daily Nanny required for a family with 2 boys (8 and 4 years old), a girl (3 years old) and twins (1 years old). The role will be sole charge, working 44 hours per week, Monday- Thursday (7am to 6.30pm).
A driver is essential, and a car is provided for the duties of the role. The family employ a cleaner and gardener and do not have any pets. The nanny will be entitled to 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays, pro rata) and may be required to travel with the family to destinations such as London/UK or abroad.
We are looking for a wonderful, caring and fun Nanny (open to experience) to join this lovely family of 5, helping to support them with the care of all the children alongside mum.
Both parents have been together for over twenty years and married fourteen years. Father of the children is a Dentist and mother of the children runs multiple businesses and has just completed her MBA. They are a family of Indian background, keeping up with their cultures and speak English at home.
The children have beautiful manners and are kind, caring and well behaved. They all enjoy reading, building Lego, playing with train sets cooking, being creative, being helpful and exploring the outdoors. This household enjoy being in the fresh air so outside time is essential.
All children have limited use of TV/iPad during term time and only available on weekends with protected time. The children enjoy food, they do not eat red meat but are OK with fish and chicken.
The family home is situated on just under 6 acres of land including a river and mini forest. They have a large garden which the children enjoy. There is an opportunity for a ‘green fingered’ nanny to establish a vegetable and fruit patch in the greenhouse should they wish!
It is therefore essential that the candidate drives, and they have a car for the post holder.
The family currently have a Norland nanny, who is due to go on maternity leave at the end of April 2025. They are looking for someone to join the family either as a permanent nanny or a fixed term maternity cover and open for a start date between January and April with at least a week’s handover. Ideally.
Mum usually takes the older children to school then heads to work each morning. The boys are collected by mum at 5pm and daughter collected by nanny at 3.10pm. The post holder will share responsibilities with mum but mainly be with the twins.
There will be duties to prepare school bags, homework, snacks, clothes etc for the children. They may require additional hours for evening work and would plan this in advance.
It is important for the family that the new Nanny continues with the routine that they have established with the children and someone who has a kind, calming yet firm nature about them. The family are open, transparent and honest so it would suit someone who is similar in this respect.
