We are looking for a regular Pet / Child Sitter for a lovely client of ours in North Norfolk. They have a beautiful estate in a fantastic location not far from the coast.

The main dates that they require help for at the moment are:

Monday 3rd February until late Saturday 8th February 2025. There will be more required/available throughout the year, but they will be confirmed at a later stage.

The family have two school aged children (7 and 11) and 2 very friendly, well behaved dogs.

The person must be very reliable, trustworthy and willing to get an enhanced DBS check completed before starting. It is important that the person is great with children and dogs.

If the person would like more consistent hours in the future, this role could materialise and involve assisting with the housekeeping team etc.

Child/ dog sitting duties:

Will usually involve overnight stays at the owners home, and all day during the weekends
Sole charge of the two children, cooking for them and generally taking care of them whilst the parents are away.
School pick-ups/ drop-offs, the house manager can assist with this at times.
Walking the dogs twice a day, feeding and watering them, again the house manager can assist during week day sittings if required.

Hours: 20 hours per week – Thursday and Friday 8am-4pm and a Sunday 8am-12 midday.

Overall job purpose:

The role of the Housekeeper is to provide a pro-active, consistent general housekeeping service to the family.

Holiday cover Housekeeper (4 weeks -August 2024)- Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk- RR1718

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to step in for one month this August to provide holiday cover. This could materialise into something more full time and permanent for the right person.

Minimum hours – 18 per week

The person must have previous private housekeeping experience and be happy to step into the large family home and hit the ground running taking care of the following:

Daily cleaning of the 8 bedroom house (dusting, polishing, hoovering, mopping)
General tidying, arranging, sorting and organising
Changing bed linen
Loading and unloading the dishwasher
Managing all laundry-there is often quite a lot with 6 children

This position could materialise into something more permanent for the right person.

No accommodation available so the Housekeeper will need to be able to get to Brancaster Staithe.

Car driver essential. Glowing references and DBS check a must.

Mothers Help – South of Acle, Norwich- RR1714

Local Mothers Help / Childcare required for small family near Freethorpe, Norwich.

Both parents work full time and regularly travel to London and/or internationally for work purposes. They are looking for a super reliable and wonderful person to help them with their children on a part time basis, every afternoon, Monday-Friday.

The family have a 3 and 9 year old. One goes to nursery and the other is at school.

The hours:

Monday: Approx 5.30 pm -7.00 – 8.00 pm (to include nursery / school collection, after school club and supper in a local pub/restaurant, back home, bath and bed)
Tuesday: approx 4.15 pm – 7.00 – 8.00 pm (to include nursery/ school collection, football training then back home for supper, bath and bed
Wednesday: approx 4.30 pm – 6.00 – 7.00pm (relaxed evening with no activities / clubs)
Thursday: approx 4.30 pm- 6.00 -7.00pm (to include nursery/ school collection, swimming club then back home bath and bed)
Friday:approx 4/5pm – 5/6pm (relaxed evening with no activities / clubs)

If the parents are having to work in London or abroad, there will be times when the Mothers Help will need to stay a bit longer (7-8pm). It can vary however, sometimes 2 – 3 days a week, sometimes none- flexibility is therefore paramount.

If the Mothers Help requires more hours each week then this is a possibility, but the role will then include a bit of light housekeeping, cooking, shopping and ironing to make up the hours.

This is ideally a self-employed position and would suit someone who is nice, local. and flexible. School holiday hours will be different as the family tend to travel abroad to visit relatives. Someone looking to have school holidays off would be preferred although the family are happy to try and work something out if needs be.

The successful person will need to drive, have a clean licence and be happy using their own car. Mileage will be covered.

Reliability is key for this role, it would suit an organised person who doesn’t have any afternoon commitments. Someone kind, caring, sensible and trustworthy would ideal.

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Garden Designer to join an award winning, thriving family business with over 25 years experience, creating beautiful gardens and timber frame garden buildings for the distinctive landscape and architecture of East Anglia.

The office is located close to Framlingham and the new staff member must be a car driver with their own transport. They will be required to attend meetings in the office and visit sites in Suffolk, South Norfolk, North Essex and East Cambridgeshire.

Requirements for the Garden Designer

Over one year experience of working in the garden design/landscape architecture field or currently undertaking a qualification in garden design/ landscape architecture, degree or diploma desirable but other qualifications considered
Proficient or learning to be in the use of 2D CAD such as Vectorworks or AutoCAD and 3D modeling such as SketchUp (Vectorworks is used and supplied in the office)
Basic plant knowledge
Can work to tight deadlines

Part Time experienced Housekeeper required for private household located in rural Surrey approximately 5 miles South of Guildford.

We are looking for someone to work 12 hours a week over 3 days ( to include Fridays). The house is a large newly built family home which lends itself to a great environment to work in.

The housekeeper must be reliable, trustworthy with a positive attitude and a good work ethic. Someone who has a keen eye for detail, who really takes a pride in their work.
