We are looking for 2 lovely, Holiday Nannies to help this summer from Saturday 21st June -Thursday 26th June 2025.

The primary focus will be caring for the twins, organising engaging activities to support their development and taking them out daily. The main dates that they require help for at the moment are:

The family are hoping to find someone for 4-5 hours in the morning from around 9.30am to help clear breakfast, prepare lunch and leave something for their supper. There will also be some light housekeeping duties to include hoovering, dusting, tidying away etc. popping a wash on, making beds and loading and unloading the dishwasher. They would also love someone flexible who is happy to pop to the shops as and when needed to keep the fridge well stocked for guests.

The hours may vary slightly from day to day depending on the families needs and the amount of guests they have staying. There family of 4 will be there all the time but there could be a maximum of 12 people at any time, with guests coming and going throughout the holiday.

This could potentially be a shared day – Mum could perhaps do school pick up, but would then need someone to take over later, by 5.30 latest. Mum will then need to go to Cambridge to see her son perform. Someone could cover the lot from 3,15-9pm or they could do 5.30-9pm if more convenient. This is to be confirmed.

Thursday- 2.45-8.15pm (5.5 hours)

  •  School pick up at 2.45pm. Drive to Hertford for singing lesson (takes 25 mins). Wait at singing lesson/nearby. Come home for tea etc. Mum wouldn’t be around at all and would be back  at 8.15pm so  it will be sole charge.

Friday- 3.15pm-6pm (2.45 hours)

  • 3.15 school collection. Little play in the park with friends, then home for tea etc.

All mileage will be covered for driving but the person must be happy to use their own car.

School Holidays:

A lot more flexible. If the person would rather have holidays off entirely that’s not a problem, if however they would like to continue working throughout, that’s fine too. The hours will change and will be more daytime than afternoon/evening.

Farm Secretary Maternity Contract

Full time farm secretary required on a temporary 12–14-month maternity contract in a busy and varied family run farming business and butchery. Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm.

We are looking for a reliable and organised person able to travel to a rural location 12 miles north of Norwich.

The role would suit someone with farm office experience or knowledge of farming.

The position will include but is not limited to:

  • Use of Sage 50 for all bookkeeping tasks
  • VAT returns monthly.
  • Bacs payment runs.
  • Use of excel.
  • Payroll and timesheet management
  • Dealing with customers (mainly wholesale) over the phone. Full product training will be given but applicants must be comfortable with spending time in a butchery.
  • PA and Admin duties
  • Use of bespoke system to place customer orders (training provided)
  • Customer credit control

To start in early November the applicant must:

  • Be competent with bookkeeping tasks (Knowledge of Sage not essential as training will be given)
  • Be confident with basic excel tasks.
  • Have experience in a farm secretary or farm accounts type role.

Nanny / Mothers Help (18 hours a week)- Beenham, Berkshire- Ref RR1453

Lovely family of 4 seeking childcare/general household help throughout the year on a part time basis. Initially the family would love help on a Wednesday-Friday for approximately 18 hours each week although this is open to discussion.

Main Hours:

Ideally approximately 6 hours a day:

  • EITHER spilt shift:  to cover mornings from 7.30am-9.30m and evenings 3- 7pm;
  • OR afternoon-evening: 1pm-7.30pm.

Some flexibility with hours and start/end times would be ideal. Hours may be reduced / flexed at other times of the year by agreement.

This is a live-out position, but live in with ensuite double bedroom and shared household kitchen could be possible for the right candidate whilst they are working.

Responsibilities:

  • After-school, bath and bedtime routine
  • Sole care of two children aged 5.5 years and 2.5 years whilst both parents are working
  • Occasional school and nursery runs – approximately 30 minutes in total (own car to be used and fuel covered)
  • Some cooking supper and batch cooking
  • Some ad-hoc cleaning/laundry/general housekeeping

Essentials:

  • Experienced and safe driver with clean driving licence
  • Previous experience looking after young children a must
  • Childcare and first aid qualifications not essential but would be great
  • Excellent references
  • Someone happy to muck in.

The position will be Monday  – Saturday, 7.30am – 11.00am until the end of March 2024.

The position:-

  • All yard duties to a high standard including; mucking out, turning out, and bringing in, hays, waters, rugs, feet check, washing off, tack cleaning.
  • Clipping and plaiting would be an advantage.
  • Hacking fit horses, including TBs.

The person:-

  • Must be a competent rider.
  • Hard working, reliable and a good team player.
  • Organised, dedicated and enthusiastic with a real love for horses.
  • Car driver as no public transport.

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy person to assist an elderly gentleman with light duties within the house. The main priority is to cook and serve his lunch and to prepare his tea.

A good cook is essential who can provide healthy, delicious meals for the 4/5 days a week. Tea can be prepared and left ready for the gentleman to eat later in the day.

No personal care is required just company, cooking and general tidying.

Admissions Registrar /Head’s PA required to cover maternity leave to start July 2023 until May 2024.

The position is within one of the leading independent Preparatory and Nursery Schools in the county and is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Admissions Registrar to join the team for approx 9 months.

The successful person will be dealing with parents from the initial telephone call applying for a place for their child through to the welcoming of the child to their first day.

The admissions process will involve:-

  • Initial enquiry from parent
  • Arranging an appointment to visit the school
  • Gathering personal information about the child – interests, hobbies, sports etc
  • Liaise with class teacher
  • Arrange further visits to school if required
  • Provide all forms to be filled if they decide to take a place and suggest a trial day
  • Follow up call/email after trial day

The PA role will involve:-

  • Diary Management
  • Dealing with correspondence both written and verbal
  • Arranging parent meetings

The person:-

  • Reliable, punctual, well presented and polite
  • Well spoken with a good command of the English language
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Will be happy to liaise with parents, other staff and pupils
