Temporary Part Time Groundsperson/Handyperson required for the summer months to assist gardener on private country estate between Sudbury and Colchester.
We are looking for someone reliable who would enjoy working outside for a few weeks during the summer in the most wonderful location. Someone willing to take instruction with a ‘can do’ attitude. A good team player, polite and easy to get along with.
You would be required to cut grass using large ride on mower, strim areas around the estate and generally keep on top of tidying.
Carrying out basic DIY and painting would also be required, helping move furniture and generally assisting where needed.
Car driver preferred as rural location.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a lightweight, experienced rider / groom who is looking to work with smart Pony Club / British Showjumping competition ponies. The person will purely be responsible for the daily care of the three children’s wonderful ponies including:
- Mucking out
- Feeding
- Poo picking
- Grooming
- Clipping
- Pulling manes/tails
- Tacking up
- Tack cleaning
- Exercising, lunging and schooling (between 123cm-142cm)
- Supervising riding after school
- Driving small horse lorry

Fantastic opportunity for either a local nanny/ mothers help or a postgraduate Norland student or equivalent looking for a short-term placement, working for a lovely, small family in Norfolk on a part time basis. The position is based in the centre of beautiful Holt. Both parents work and are looking for the following:

Yard worker required for stables approx 10 miles from Cambridge.
This would suit someone looking for part time hours – mornings ideally who can literally carry out mucking out, yard sweeping and general help around the grounds. Poo picking the fields and keeping the stables clean. Making sure the horses have hay ( which will be ready to feed).

Experienced rider / groom required for a lovely family point to point yard based outside of Norwich.
Previous racing experience would be ideal although is not essential. The person MUST be an excellent rider who is capable of riding fit and sometimes sharp point to point horses.
You will be required to assist with all the fittening work as well as the fast work. Schooling will not be required unless the person is keen to and capable.
The person must be happy mucking out each day, grooming, plaiting, trimming etc.

Half of the work will be at the family’s main house near Wymondham/Norfolk and the remaining days will be at their gorgeous holiday house near the coast in Burnham Overy Staithe/ North Norfolk.
