We are looking for a wonderfully experienced and reliable housekeeper for 2, possibly 3 hours a day Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Friday each week.

Hours:

8.00am-10.00am would be the ideal although for the right person it could be 9.00am-11.00am.

The position will involve a general tidy up each morning, putting things away after breakfast and sorting the kitchen out once the children have gone to school.

The family have a part time cleaner who helps keep on top of the house a few times a week so this is really an extra pair of hands to enable the principals to go to work straight after the school run.

It will entail:

  • Keeping laundry room, boot room and entrance hall neat and tidy
  • Sorting the kitchen, having a general tidy up, wiping down all surfaces, hoovering and moping the floor, loading dishwasher
  • The plan would be to do a general clean round the house / rooms that are in use and then turn over 1 room properly each day so that by the end of the week the house has had a thorough clean
  • Changing bed sheets
  • Light ironing (the family have a lovely person that does the bulk of their laundry each week so it really will be the odd shirt etc here and there)

This is a long term, permanent, self employed role in a gorgeous fun, family environment.

The family have two school age children and a friendly dog so the housekeeper must be happy to work amongst children and pets. This would suit a very organised and tidy person as the family are very neat and tidy themselves and live in a very warm and calming way. They must have worked in a similar role / setting previously and be fit and healthy as the house is quite large.
