An active, practical and reliable person required twice weekly to take care of and maintain the inside and outside of a property in a stunning rural location on the Essex / Hertfordshire border, approx. 9 miles from both Bishops Stortford and Saffron Walden. This would suit a proactive and self-sufficient person who sees what must be done and takes action.

The country house is surrounded by a garden and 30 acres,( used by local farmer for sheep) and the owners need regular part-time help to maintain the property inside and out. At present they do not have any help with the garden or house, so this is a new position to make life easier for them.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic nanny to join a busy, family household, to help look after their lovely four-year old son, and to help with some household chores.

This is a long-term role which is focused on engaging with the little boy and arranging fun activities during 3 days per week during the school holidays, and two or three afternoons each week during term time (but term time hours can be bolstered with additional housekeeping, alongside the families part-time housekeeper, if requested). There is quite a lot of flexibility surrounding hours for the right person, so please get in touch if you think that you might be interested and be a good fit. Hours:

Holiday hours: 3 x 8 hour days
Term time hours: 2-3 x 4 hour afternoons

Hours:

Holt – 15 hours a week spread over 3 days ideally
Saxlingham – 2 hours twice a week, afternoons preferred
Langham – 1 full day a week 9am-4pm.

Rural Recruitment are looking for someone lovely and experienced to help cover staff holidays over the next 6-12 months.

The role will be sporadic and will require someone who is flexible with limited commitments if possible. The position will be working from home.

The role could potentially materialise into something more regular and long term but initially it would be wonderful if someone could just help out as and when necessary.

The role:

Responding to emails (correct use of the English language and proficient at spelling)
Sending out terms and conditions of business
Writing job adverts
Filtering, screening and calling applicants
Arranging interviews (Teams, Zoom, Face to face)
Updating bespoke CRM

The Person:

Extremely vigilant, reliable and enthusiastic
Polite, professional and friendly
Will have excellent communication skills and an exemplary telephone manner
Capable with good IT skills
Flexible and happy to cover some early morning and early evening enquiries
Quick at picking things up and able to use own initiative
Able to work independently but communicate effectively with the rest of the team through phone calls and TEAMS meetings
Previous experience in recruitment would be beneficial
Equine knowledge important
Available for one weeks cover in August dates tbc

Experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner required for private country house located 8 miles South of Newmarket, Suffolk. The property is easily accessed from Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds.

The busy, young family are looking for a reliable, friendly person who is happy around animals and children to keep their large house clean and tidy.

The days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday- between 4 and 5 hours each day.

The position will include:

All housework to a high standard
Changing beds
Washing and ironing

Laying fires and keeping log basket full
Helping with supper parties – serving and clearing away
Making up bedroom for guests
Some weekend work ( not every weekend )

The housekeeper will be required to work 9 hours a week over 3 mornings.

The family are located in Newmarket, Suffolk and are looking for someone who can help their two children with all GCSE topics in the comfort of their own home.

The children are 14 and 16 years old and really need someone who can give them plenty of confidence and support.

The opportunity to travel to Dubai with the family is also an option, however when they are overseas sessions can be done remotely.
