Full Time experienced Groom/Housekeeper required for private country house with 2 beautiful horses situated in stunning location on the Essex/Suffolk border.
During the Spring and Summer months the focus is perhaps more towards the horses in preparation for their competition season ( top level showing and eventing) with less housework.
The Autumn and Winter months are the reverse with the emphasis being on the housework, laundry and ironing. Main body of work in Suffolk but the successful candidate will be required to relocate for the summer months to a beautiful property in Surrey (very nice free accommodation available).
We are looking to find an experienced rider / groom to join a satellite farm in Suffolk as part of a small busy team, the main company having a reputation as one of the most prestigious Thoroughbred breeding and racing operations in the world.
The Successful candidate would be able to help look after, tack up, exercise and ride some of the 18 horses who all live out. Experience in operating farm machinery such as quads, walking machines, treadmills would be helpful. Competing is an option as there is a mix of privately owned dressage, jumping and show horses.
During the summer months the family relocate to Surrey where the duties would be similar except the job would include helping with pony rides and lessons for beginners. The position comes with excellent remuneration package based on a 40 hour week. It is a live in position with a modern 3 bedroom house on site.
For candidates that were to show exemplary work ethic a fixed position could be discussed within the company.

We are looking for an experienced and versatile part time Housekeeper/ Mothers Help, 4 days a week, 3pm-7pm, 16 hours total, no weekends.
You will be required to carry out all housekeeping duties to a high standard including cleaning, laundry and ironing. The main element of this position is housekeeping, however this is a busy household with 3 children between the ages of 3 and 10 so help with the school runs, meal times, homework, reading, etc will be required.
We are looking for someone who is happy to turn their hand to anything from walking the family dog to helping the children with their ponies.

You will be subject to long hours in the saddle each day and MUST therefore be physically fit and capable of spending a lot of time in the saddle.
