Part Time Companion/Driver/Cook required to spend a few hours a week with a delightful mature gentleman while his wife spends a little time out of the family home.
The ideal person will be reliable, trustworthy and above all kind and patient. Perhaps someone with previous experience as a companion/cook looking to reduce from full time hours or maybe a retired nurse or similar. It could also fit around school hours as long as commitment could continue during school holidays.
The couple live in the most wonderful house in the centre of Hadleigh, Suffolk and have a lovely garden maintained by the gentleman of the house to a really high standard.
There is no personal care required just somebody to cook a nice lunch and provide company for approx 4 hours. Maybe a little general tidying around the house although there is a cleaner employed so no housework as such.
A car driver would be perfect who would be happy to take the gentleman out somewhere interesting to make the day enjoyable.
The day can be either Monday , Wednesday or Thursday with a little flexibility to change if required and the hours ideally 12 – 4pm. This could be extended to a couple of times a week if all parties happy.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Farm Secretary to join this large family farm located in Rendlesham Suffolk. The office has views over the River Deben and grounds of the Hall, so a fabulous working environment. This is a job share with the existing Farm Secretary and the successful person will be required to work 3 days a week.
The farm has 1200 acres of arable land which is managed by a contract farmer. In addition the family own 190 acres of woodland and 120 of permanent grass both managed in house. There are also a number of residential properties 14 of which are let and managed in house.
The Position:-
- The day to day running of the office including dealing with post, emails, phone calls and general correspondence
- Dealing with tenants, arranging property repairs, preparing tenancy agreements, dealing with deposits, and general property management. Producing budgets and management reports for meetings
- Organising and keeping up to date the extensive active and dead filing system as well as managing and transferring to a cloud based system
- Monitoring numerous bank accounts, arranging payments of monthly invoices, producing cash flow reports and instigating cash movements to maintain balances.
