Lovely, reliable and flexible afternoon Nanny / Mothers Help required to assist busy family of 4, 3-4 afternoons a week.
The children are both school age, one is at a local school and the other is at boarding school.
Hours:
Days of work:
Ideally a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and possibly a Friday afternoon. The core days would be a Tuesday and Thursday as these tend to be the busiest afternoons with a lot going on.
Breakdown of the position:
Term time:
Monday – 3pm-6.30pm (3.5 hours)
- Would involve a school collection at 3.15. A short walk to a dance class (500 metres away). Dance ends 4.45. Home for tea etc
Tuesday- 3pm or 5.30pm start- 9pm finish (3.5 or 6 hours)
- School collection at 3.15 . Home for quick supper. Leave home at 6.30 for Guides in Ware (20 min drive). Involves waiting nearby and collecting at 8.30pm. This could potentially be a shared day – Mum could perhaps do school pick up, but would then need someone to take over later, by 5.30 latest. Mum will then need to go to Cambridge to see her son perform. Someone could cover the lot from 3,15-9pm or they could do 5.30-9pm if more convenient. This is to be confirmed.
Thursday- 2.45-8.15pm (5.5 hours)
- School pick up at 2.45pm. Drive to Hertford for singing lesson (takes 25 mins). Wait at singing lesson/nearby. Come home for tea etc. Mum wouldn’t be around at all and would be back at 8.15pm so it will be sole charge.
Friday- 3.15pm-6pm (2.45 hours)
- 3.15 school collection. Little play in the park with friends, then home for tea etc.
All mileage will be covered for driving but the person must be happy to use their own car.
School Holidays:
A lot more flexible. If the person would rather have holidays off entirely that’s not a problem, if however they would like to continue working throughout, that’s fine too. The hours will change and will be more daytime than afternoon/evening.
This would suit an experienced, local, caring and kind person who is ultra reliable and trustworthy.
Clean driving licence essential.
Experience looking after children vital.
Excellent references and an up to date DBS check will be required before starting.
