Full Time Groom / Rider required for GB endurance yard in Norfolk.

This is a riding position and the successful person will need to be an excellent, light weight rider. This is a fantastic chance to work with a small, competitive team.

You do not need to have worked with endurance horses previously but MUST have ridden to a good level in either dressage, show jumping, eventing, polo, hunting or racing.

This would be ideal for someone who loves riding and enjoys being in the saddle for long hours!

In addition to helping train the horses for competitions you will need to be capable and happy with all stable management and yard duties (mucking out, putting horses on and off the walker, grooming, paddock care, basic illness and lameness knowledge etc).

We are looking for a reliable person who can work 12 hours a week over 3 days keeping the grounds of this house neat and tidy throughout the year.

The job will involve a variety of tasks from lawn care to pet care(2 dogs).

The Position:-

All grass care using large garden machinery, strimming, edging etc
Hedge Cutting
Weeding, cutting back, replanting and watering
Keeping driveways and paths clear and weed free
Cleaning gutters of the property when required
Leaf collection
Liaising with tradesmen
BBQ prep ( cleaning and putting away etc)
Pet care for 2 dogs
Car washing
Patio and driveway pressure washing
Ground maintenance including fencing repairs
Season specific tasks
Occasional errands

The Person:-

Reliable, punctual with a ‘can do’ attitude and a good work ethic
Experienced with using large garden machinery
Will have good horticultural knowledge
Will have good DIY skills
Will be polite and happy to liaise with visitors to property
An animal lover as family have 2 dogs
Car driver with own transport
Within 40 minutes of property

Part Time Gardener/Handyperson required for private country house located approx 2 miles from Hadleigh, Ipswich, Suffolk.

We are looking for someone reliable to work one full day a week assisting the Gardener with a variety of tasks to keep the grounds of this lovely property looking great at all times.

Grass cutting
Strimming
Edging
Weeding, cutting back
Leaf collecting
Spraying
Hedge Cutting
Chopping logs
Keeping swimming pool area and tennis court clean and tidy

Lovely part time, temporary Nanny required to look after two young children aged 2.5 yrs and 1 year whilst both parents are at work.

The placement will be 4 months long and will require someone to help every Wednesday for the whole day.

Dates:

Start date: 20th September 2023
End date: 31st January 2024

Car driver essential as the eldest will need collecting from a local nursery at midday.

No cleaning required just someone who loves children and has a caring, kind and friendly way about them.
