Part Time Groundsperson/Maintenance – Braintree, Essex – Ref 1142

Part Time experienced Groundsperson/Maintenance Person required for family business located between Chelmsford and Braintree near Black Notley.

We are are looking for 2 part time staff members to join the team maintaining grounds within and established Business Park.

We are looking for someone with very high standards to keep the grounds well maintained providing a pleasant environment for staff and tenants to work in.

The Business Park comprises offices and light industrial units with approx 70 businesses accommodated on site.

Job Description:-

Hours of work will be 8am to 4.30pm – 2 or 3 days a week with occasional Saturday mornings 8 am-12.00
Grass cutting including use of zero turn grass cutter
Strimming
Hedge Cutting
Knapsack spraying with PA1 & PA6 ( preferably)
General gardening duties-weeding, pruning etc
Teleporter Fork Lift operation with certificate preferred
Some working for heights ladder and MEWPS preferred
Some tractor work
Machinery maintenance

The Person:-

Hardworking, polite and enthusiastic
Good time keeping
At least 10 years groundsperson experience
Good machinery knowledge for use and upkeep
Able to work alone and follow instructions
Understanding of Health and Safety ( training available)
Be flexible with working hours
Able to work in all weather conditions
Full UK driving licence essential
Be able to provide fully checkable references

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person on an employed basis. This will be a zero hours contract.
