Part Time Stockperson/Estate Worker – Nr Newmarket, Suffolk REF 702 FILLED

Part Time experienced Stockperson/Estate Worker required for private Estate located outside the village of Wickhambrook near newmarket.

We are looking for someone with a genuine love of working outside caring for a variety of livestock ( sheep, pigs, cattle and chickens) and also who can assist on the Estate where required.  Experience handling cattle is a must.

The successful person must be able to drive a tractor and carry out field maintenance ( rolling, harrowing etc) and also be able to use other large machinery such as hedge cutters, chain saws with the necessary certificates . Some heavy work involved so must be physically fit.  Experience with operating a digger would be beneficial.

There are at present a flock of 50 sheep ( South Downs and Suffolks) , a few cattle including Red Polls and 10 Tamworth pigs so a really interesting role for animal lovers.

Soon there will be the introduction of organic chickens as well as more cattle.

This is a three day a week position on an employed basis , 24 hours per week. More hours possible during lambing and summer. This may however increase to full time in the future.

Full Time Head Gardener, Nr Newmarket – REF 701 FILLED

Full Time experienced Head Gardener required for private Estate located close to the village of Wickhambrook, Suffolk.

Ideally the successful person will hold horticultural qualifications, however this is not essential as someone with a wealth of practical experience working within large gardens will be considered. Excellent plant knowledge is essential.

Use of large garden machinery will be required – ride on mower, tractor, strimmer, sprayer, hedge cutter ,chain saw etc.

We are looking for an experienced and wonderful Part Time Housekeeper / Mothers Help to assist with the daily chores, lightening the load for a very busy working mum and mother of three.
