This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Groom looking to work in a competitive, yet fun, private, family eventing yard in gorgeous Somerset.

We are ideally looking for a competent rider who can help hack the children’s horses whilst they are at school so a good rider would be an advantage although this is not essential. You will be required to carry out all yard duties to a high standard as well as turning horses and ponies out for competitions (plaiting, clipping, trimming etc).

Basic lameness and injury care a must.

This is a part time position, 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (8.00am-5.30pm)  although there is some flexibility available for the right person. Extra hours and days can be given if the person requires and any help at competitions is an option too.

Experienced gardener required to look after a beautiful 3-acre contemporary garden. The person does not need to be qualified but they must have experience of working for a private household, estate or 4-5* hotel.

Part Time Mother’s Help required for busy young family located in Barrow near Bury St Edmunds.

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy person with a lovely friendly personality and a love of keeping things clean and tidy.

This is a Monday to Friday position and the hours will be 2pm to 7pm.

The job involves:-

  • Housework including washing and ironing
  • Possibly some food prep but not essential
  • Dog walking and feeding
  • Checking 2 horses in the field , changing rugs and feeding
  • General gardening – weeding, pruning and raking

There will be a holiday cottage so there could be extra hours if someone could manage the changeover day.
