This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Groom looking to work in a competitive, yet fun, private, family eventing yard in gorgeous Somerset.

We are ideally looking for a competent rider who can help hack the children’s horses whilst they are at school so a good rider would be an advantage although this is not essential. You will be required to carry out all yard duties to a high standard as well as turning horses and ponies out for competitions (plaiting, clipping, trimming etc).

Basic lameness and injury care a must.

This is a part time position, 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (8.00am-5.30pm) although there is some flexibility available for the right person. Extra hours and days can be given if the person requires and any help at competitions is an option too.

Car driver essential due to rural location and demands of the job.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and enjoy getting involved and helping 3 ambitious, competent riders to progress up the British Eventing ladder.

Experienced gardener required to look after a beautiful 3-acre contemporary garden. The person does not need to be qualified but they must have experience of working for a private household, estate or 4-5* hotel.

Ideally 3 full days a week, with one of the days being a Friday.

Sole charge of maintaining the garden all year round to include:

Cutting the lawn (push and ride on mower)
Weeding
Maintaining flower beds

Part Time Mother’s Help required for busy young family located in Barrow near Bury St Edmunds.

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy person with a lovely friendly personality and a love of keeping things clean and tidy.

This is a Monday to Friday position and the hours will be 2pm to 7pm.

The job involves:-

Housework including washing and ironing
Possibly some food prep but not essential
Dog walking and feeding
Checking 2 horses in the field , changing rugs and feeding
General gardening – weeding, pruning and raking
School run ( Cambridge) -CAR PROVIDED

There will be a holiday cottage so there could be extra hours if someone could manage the changeover day.

There is single accommodation on site so this could be a live in position if required.
