Part Time Carer/Companion required one day a week to care for lovely lady so her adoring family can have a little time off. Location is between Boxford and Bildeston
We are looking for a reliable, caring person with a patient, gentle disposition to look after this lady to ensure that she is happy, comfortable and safe at all times. She does not walk or stand unaided and is in a wheelchair/armchair most of the day. She is unable to do anything herself.
The day is as follows:-
- Her husband helps her up each morning from her adjustable bed into her wheelchair about 07.45-8am
- She requires personal care in the bathroom with washing, teeth cleaning and pull up changing

Previous racing experience would be ideal although is not essential. The person MUST be an excellent rider who is capable of riding fit and sometimes sharp point to point horses.

We are looking for someone who can carry out all yard duties to a high standard and provide first class care to the 13 horses on site.
The horses are hunters and driving horses so the groom must have excellent turn out skills-clipping, plaiting, trimming etc. Experience with driving horses would be great but not a dealbreaker.

The family have 8 horses in total but only 4 hunters in work.
The horses all have wonderful manners / temperaments but will need an experienced rider to keep them fit / sound for the hunting field.
Hours:
Non hunting days: 6.30am-10.30/11am- 3pm-4.30/5pm
Hunting days will change slightly
Main duties:
- All yard duties to an excellent standard
- Turning out essential (plaiting, clipping, trimming etc)
- Liaising with vets, farriers, dentist
- Riding 4 horses each morning – fantastic off road hacking available, gallop and horse walker
- Would be an advantage if the successful person could drive a lorry but this is not a deal breaker
Chance to hunt if the person is keen to do so, spare sub covered for the season
Shared accommodation available for the right person.
Wonderful working environment for friendly private family. This is a long term position and it would be great to find someone who is looking to become an integral member of this enthusiastic team.
For those that love their hunting and hacking this would be ideal.
