This is a diverse role that includes the production and delivery of firewood, the processing of woodchip for outside customers and the estate’s two biomass boilers, planting new hedges and woodland annually, fence maintenance, and work within our vineyard.

Experienced Estimator required to work in the commercial department for a successful housing development firm on the outskirts of Norwich. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to join an expanding and friendly team. We are hoping to find an organised person that has excellent communication skills and the ability to work to set time scales.
The ideal person will have previous construction experience, with at least 5 years in the field. Driving licence essential due to site visits.
The main requirements of this exciting position will include preparing land cost appraisals and estimate costs for new land opportunities as well as preparing and completing site-specific take offs to inform the land appraisals, following the issue of working drawings.
The person will need to have a firm understanding of planning and technical documentation and be able to produce reliable forecasts which will be presented to the wider company.
Cashflow developments based on anticipated start dates in order to accurately measure ROCE & IRR would be a real advantage although training will be offered.
Lastly, the ability to create and present an overview of completed land appraisal to upper management prior to bid submissions will be required.
